Dob in Ta Ann for selling Tasmania’s magnificent forests as ‘eco’ wood!

Check out the latest campaign from the awesome forest campaigners down in Tassie who are taking on the Malaysian wood cartel Taa Ann to protect Australia’s unique southern forests. Let their customers know exactly what type of wood they are buying now!

  2. Standing up for forests

The Sydney Opera House-scaling activists behind a recent Do Gooder campaign are taking aim at one of Australia’s largest retailers, Harvey Norman.

And with good reason!  Australia’s precious forests are being destroyed by industrial logging operations every minute of every single day. And Harvey Norman is helping to drive this destruction by selling furniture and flooring products made from these vital resources.

The Last Stand, a new action-focused environmental organisation has kicked off a campaign aimed at Australian retail companies who make some serious bucks from forest trashing. Their organisational skills are quite awesome - having already manged a ‘24 hours of action’ which was a huge success: 41 actions in 17 countries all appeal to Harvey Norman who are surely feeling the heat!
